What is “Revival”?
Many people talk about Revival, but few have studied it. What is “Revival”? Simply, It is the Sovereign move of God’s Spirit, in partnership with the prayers of people, to bring about repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ, to the Glory of His Great name! “Great Awakening” is another term that is used.
What isn’t Revival?
Revival is not a bunch of enthusiastic Americans cursing “this and that” with swear words, at a political event. Nor is it a bunch of “New Age” speakers talking about “moving to a higher consciousness”. That is demonic and counterfeit….
Revival.
3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
