American Church Fiasco
The Biggest problem in American churches is bad preaching. Three (3) things have not been taught: 1.) the Lordship of Jesus Christ, 2.) the sinfulness of man, and 3.) the doctrine of repentance/regeneration. America is filled with false preachers and “Christians”.
False Christians
We are convinced that many people who call themselves “Christian” are not: “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied [spoken; preached] in Your name?…and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22, 23). [Check out the video, and the links as the bottom of this page]

In Short,
Jesus is Lord and God
1.) Yes, God is good and loving; yet people do not understand that Christ is no “push-over” and WILL judge their sinfulness in eternal Hell, because of His goodness. A judge who sets an unrepentant criminal free is NOT a good judge. Thus, Jesus’ death on the cross was God’s judgment upon His own Son, who was substituted in the place of men. His resurrection displayed His Lordship/authority/power over death- man’s greatest obstacle. Are you willing to surrender to this POWRFUL LORD?

Man is Corrupt
2.) Mankind’s sin includes even their thought lives (lust and pornography; hatred/anger which can lead to temper tantrums/evil-speaking). Men are evil to the core (their heart/inner being): “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). After death, people answer to God: “[I]t is appointed unto man to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)
Turn from Sins
3.) And people have not been taught that they must turn from their sins (“repentance”, which is not earning salvation) and be born again (regenerated) by the Holy Spirit to have eternal life in heaven. Sin includes sex before marriage, drunkenness, drug-abuse (marijuana and opioids), stealing, and lying (Exodus 20; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Galatians 5).

The Good News (Gospel)
4.) God is good, loving, and just. People die because of sin. God, in His love, gave Jesus to die for ours sins on a wooden, Roman cross. Jesus was literally dead and rose again the third day. His resurrection proves He has power to give you eternal life.
God’s True Grace
5.) None of your “good works” will ever earn you salvation. You need the righteousness of Christ credited to your negative account of works. By placing your faith in Jesus’ person and work; you are saved by God’s grace and not by your own work. This includes repentance (turning from sin) and a continued growth in holiness (these are not salvific works). Praise God!
